Glenbrook's Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

We are lucky to have an amazing parent association here at Glenbrook Elementary.  This group is responsible for working together to support our school, students and their families, both academically and socially.  Each year they plan many events such as Family Reading Night, Family Math Night/Ice Cream Social, Pastries for Parents, Halloween Bash, Family Fun Fair, BINGO/LOTERIA and many more.  Additionally, they raise funds to help our students and staff get extra resources which make our school a better place to learn.  Over the years they have purchased lots of technology, playground equipment, ST Math, Reading A - Z, supported assemblies and contributed in countless other ways. This year they worked hard to raise funds for a brand new school sign! The sign is expected to arrive later this week.  Without the PTA, our school would be a very different place to work and to learn.  Please consider joining as a member of the organization. Dining Out Night at Chuck E. Cheese

Our first dining out event was held at Chuck E. Cheese, a favorite spot for our families.  It was well attended and fun for all!  The next dining event will be held at Panera Bread on Rt. 59 and Irving Park Road on October 12 from 4:00-8:00 pm.  Look for fliers in the enews and to be sent home in folders.  

PTA Meetings

Our first PTA Meeting was held on Monday, September 17.  Meetings begin at 6:30, last only 1 hour and babysitting is provided!  We welcome all parents to join us to see how you can become more involved and informed in what's happening at Glenbrook.  The next PTA Meeting will be held on Monday, October 15 at 6:30 pm.  This time Mrs. Jagielski's 6th graders will be sharing some of their writing work as well.
