And the Band Plays On.....

What a wonderful concert it was too!  The 5th graders held their first band concert of the year and after only a few short months of playing, they knocked it out of the park!  Congratulations to all of our 5th graders and to Mr. Naffier, their teacher. They all worked very hard preparing for the concert and it showed.  It wasn't long ago that the students were learning about and choosing instruments.

         

The 6th-grade portion of the concert was canceled due to some other middle school events, so the 5th graders had to fly solo.  Don't worry though, our 6th graders will perform sometime during the early winter months, so we can't wait to hear them.  In the meantime, it was fun to listen to all that the Beginning Band has learned and we also heard the middle school band, including some previous Glenbrook students.  They really have gotten good!
