Memorial Garden Project
What a glorious day it was for working on the Memorial Butterfly Garden! In honor of Mrs. Laura Chandler and Mrs. Deline Gordon who passed away in November, our school has decided to bring some new life to the former butterfly garden. A huge thank you to Wheaton Bible Church and its branch church, Tri-Village Church, we received lots of donations and human power!
Before
The before pictures show the basics, and not well planted. Volunteers dug up all of the plants and put them in a beautiful arrangement.
Some new butterfly plants were donated by Tri-Village Church. Lots of gorgeous colors! The group dug up plants and weeded all areas.
Paster Eric brought some refreshments and joined the group for a few photos. He was making his rounds to all of the local CareFest projects.
The after-project looks fantastic!
Staff and students worked hard painting the butterfly house and rocks to add to our garden. These items along with fencing and a few more plants will be added over the next few weeks. Look for updated photos and an invite to the garden opening!
