Mid Week Post: An Eventful Week!
We have such an eventful week this week that I need to do a mid-week post! Our primary students have been very busy and having lots of fun too!
Pastries for Parents
On Wednesday, moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and other favorite adults joined our Kindergarten through 3rd-grade students for donuts, juice, and coffee. We had about 250 guests for the sweet treats. Thank you to all who stood in the very long line and out in the brisk and windy weather to wait for the deliciousness! We were glad to have you join us!
Glow Germ (Hand Hygiene)
Hanover Township is such a wonderful and supportive partner of all of us in U-46. Today, they came out to help our Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students to learn more about hand washing and how it helps keep the germs at bay! Students were able to put some "germ" lotion on their hands and view it under a black light. Then, after washing, they looked to see if they washed the germs away. Many needed to rewash. It was a great lesson about appropriate hand washing! (And fun too!)
