Glenbrook's Family Fun Fair
A Fabulous Festivity!

Our annual Family Fun Fair was a HUGE success!  We all look forward to this annual event, and the Parent Teachers of Glenbrook never disappoint!  A special thanks to Stephanie LeMaire, John LeMaire, Nicole Martinez, Jose Alcantara, Maria Martinez, Tina LaBarbera,Tony Sorellino, Erin Sorellino, Keith Gesiakowski, Cari Gesiakowski, Jill Piwko, Laura Chandler, Fireman Tim McCoy and all of the other parent volunteers who put countless hours into planning, setting up, running the event and then cleaning up afterward.(I'm sorry if I missed anyone, you are all appreciated!!!)  I'd also like to thank our Streamwood High School Volunteers from the AVID program and Glenbrook's 6th graders.  It's great to have such responsible young people supporting their younger peers!

Enjoy the photos below from the event.

Dr. Seuss Day at Glenbrook

“The more that you read, the more things you will know.

The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go."

                            - From Dr. Seuss, "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut"

We had a wonderful visit from Dr. Seuss, Cindy Lou Who and many other friends and former students from Streamwood High School's Future Teacher's Club.  In celebration of Dr. Seuss' Birthday, they joined our K-2 classrooms to share some of our favorite stories and activities. It was really fun to have some former Glenbrook students come back to visit!  Thank you!
