Great Minds in STEM and Literacy!
This week the creativity and problem solving came together in many ways for our young people, and they shined! 2 major events were held to highlight projects that they have worked very hard on, and both were equally impressive.
Young Authors
On Friday, Mr. Whitmer led a celebration for students to share their Young Author's Books with family and friends. The event was held in the Glenbrook Library after school. Nearly 200 students wrote creative and thoughtful books to share. Thanks to those who were able to come out, enjoy the books and celebrate with us!
U-46 STEM Expo
This year we had over 30 participants in the STEM Expo from Glenbrook! That's a record for us at Glenbrook. They completed projects on a wide variety of topics ranging from comparing our DNA to that of Monkeys, to stop motion movies, to electromagnetism to and many more.
